Dental Bridges
A dental bridge literally bridges the gap where teeth are missing — restoring your smile, your bite, and your confidence in as few as two visits.

UNDERSTANDING THE BASICS
What Is Dental Bridges?
A dental bridge is a fixed restoration that replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring artificial teeth (called pontics) to the natural teeth on either side of the gap. Unlike dentures, bridges are cemented in place — you brush and floss around them just like natural teeth.
Traditional bridges are the most common type: crowns are placed on the teeth flanking the gap (called abutment teeth), with one or more false teeth suspended between them. The result is a seamless row of teeth that looks, feels, and functions naturally.
Implant-supported bridges are anchored to dental implants instead of natural teeth. This option is ideal when multiple adjacent teeth are missing or when the neighboring teeth aren't strong enough to support a traditional bridge. It also preserves healthy tooth structure since no crowns are needed on adjacent teeth.
At Smile Avenue, bridges are designed and crafted in our in-house dental lab using high-quality porcelain and zirconia. This allows us to control the color, shape, and fit with exceptional precision, and often deliver your bridge faster than offices that outsource lab work.
IS THIS RIGHT FOR YOU?
Who Needs Dental Bridges?
You may benefit from dental bridges if any of the following apply to you:
- You're missing one to three consecutive teeth
- You have healthy, strong teeth on both sides of the gap
- You want a fixed (non-removable) replacement for missing teeth
- You're not a candidate for dental implants or prefer a faster solution
- Your bite is shifting because neighboring teeth are drifting into the gap
- You have difficulty chewing on one side due to a missing tooth
- You want to restore your smile without a removable partial denture
WHAT TO EXPECT
The Dental Bridges Process
Evaluation & Planning
We examine the gap and the strength of the abutment teeth, take digital X-rays and impressions, and discuss whether a traditional or implant-supported bridge is best.
Abutment Preparation
The teeth on either side of the gap are gently reshaped to receive crowns. Precise digital impressions are taken, and a comfortable temporary bridge is placed.
Bridge Fabrication
Your custom bridge is fabricated in our in-house lab — each tooth is color-matched and shaped to blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.
Permanent Placement
The temporary is removed, the permanent bridge is checked for fit and bite, and then cemented securely. You leave with a complete, natural-looking smile.

What Does Dental Bridges Cost?
Bridge costs depend on the number of teeth being replaced and the materials used. A three-unit bridge (replacing one tooth) at Smile Avenue typically ranges from $2,500–$4,500. Implant-supported bridges cost more but offer superior longevity. Most PPO insurance plans cover bridges as a major procedure. We offer 0% financing and accept our membership plan.
